Jazz
Terpsichorean Dance Studio offers the following classes in Jazz. Please see the Class Schedule for specific day, time and teacher information.
| Junior Jazz I (6-7 yr) | 6-7 yr. olds (January 1 age cut off)- a class designed for our youngest jazz students, introducing them to the movements and music of jazz dance.
Ages: 6 - 7 |
| Junior Jazz II (8-11 yr) | 8-11 yr. olds (January 1 age cut off). Full of fun, but with the proper technique fundamentals for the beginner.
Ages: 8 - 11 |
| Junior Jazz III / Senior Jazz II | 10 yr. +, Intermediate level (January 1 age cut off) (teacher evaluation required, ballet required),
Ages: 10 - 18 Teacher Evaluation Required You must have permission from the instructor to enroll in this class Required Concurrent Discipline(s) In order to enroll in this class you must also be enrolled in and taking a class in the following discipline(s): Ballet |
| Senior Jazz I | 12 - 16 yr. olds. A class for teens just getting started, as well as students continuing their dance education

| Senior Jazz III/IV | 14 yr. +, Int/Adv level (teacher evaluation required, ballet required) For the student who is not simply dancing for fun, but is willing to work for their art.

| Beg/Int Jazz for Adults & Older Teens | 17 yrs. and up. A chance to sweat, be creative and most of all have lots of fun!

| Musical Theatre (9 - 12 yr) | 9 - 12 yrs. Beg/Int level. Additional jazz or ballet class required. An introduction into theater and performance. A fun class designed to encourage the star in all of you to come "leaping" out. We use theater exercises to develop your performance ability on stage. We will work on musicality, acting and of course dancing!

| Musical Theater (13yr+) | 13 yr. - adult. Int/Adv level. Additional jazz or ballet class required. For the advancing Musical Theater student.
